| Recent Guest Comments... "We rented three rooms this past Saturday night at the LakeStar. I must say that the view was just spectacular in addition to the convenience of the boat dock slips (behind the hotel) and the boat rentals (next door). Everything was within walking distance. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I felt like I had known them for some time! The room made us feel like we were at home and the fireplace was a very nice touch! We will definitely be back for another visit this year!!" "We had a great stay at the LakeStar. My husband has some minor back problems and Robert suggested the King Room. The Plasma TV was a bonus! This was our first visit to Deep Creek and we were pleasantly surprised to such hospitality and upscale service from a quaint lakefront hotel. We are used to staying in larger chain hotels with more amenities but we did not miss them at all.
